  1. What is “MyBand: Live In Las Vegas”? Do I have to live in Las Vegas to be on the show?
“MyBand: Live In Las Vegas” is a show that was created to be used by independent artists and bands as a platform for getting their music heard in the entertainment capital of the world – Las Vegas, Nevada! You do not have to live in Las Vegas in order to be part of the show.
  2. What is the cost to the artist to be on the show?
There is NO COST to be on the show. The only cost that an artist pays is the submission fee from SonicBids of $10.00 if contact wasn’t initiated by a member of the show. Other than that, it is understood that if the artist or band is voted by the viewers to be part of the “MyBand” festival, they are responsible for transportation, lodging and food. We do have the capability of finding you deeply discounted lodging. THATS IT!
  3. If there are no fees to be on the show, how do you make money?

  4. Is there any compensation provided to artists who are part of the show?
Artist’s compensation is the enormous exposure gained by being part of the show. Having this kind of support from a television show is priceless.

We are looking for independent musicians of ALL GENRES. We prefer a professionally made music video however we can also use video footage of your live concert (if the audio and video quality are good) or even a video displaying pictures as your song is being played over the top. All videos will be reviewed by a member of our team before we proceed further. Remember, video must be high enough quality to be on television.
  6. How are the interviews conducted?
Submissions must be made through SonicBids. If you do not have a SonicBids profile, we highly recommend getting one as it is a tool that, if used properly, can get your band future gigs. If you DO NOT have a SonicBids profile, send an email to info@MyBandVegas.com for submission details.
  7. What happens after we submit?
Upon review of your material, you will receive a confirmation email stating whether or not you were selected. If you were selected for the show, we will want to schedule a phone call. After we speak with you regarding the final details, we will email you the Artist Release form to sign which allows us to play your video on television and to create an Artist profile for you on our website. If you are an artist we choose to interview on air, details will be worked out after we receive the release form back signed.
  8. How are the interviews conducted?
Interviews are done mainly via Skype, which can be downloaded for free at http://www.skype.com . This allows us to have the interview option open to any band or artist regardless of their geographical location. Video interviews would be preferred so long as the connection is clean enough. If not, a voice interview can be done. Furthermore, if you are in Las Vegas, interviews can also be done in person!

“MyBand” will air on a Las Vegas CBS affiliate station locally. It will also be posted online. In time, the show will air in multiple cities outside of Las Vegas.

We will cycle through videos every show much like MTV or CMT does – FREE OF CHARGE to the artist. Each show will feature different artist interviews, however.
  11. Is there anything else a selected artist would have to do?
PROMOTE, PROMOTE, PROMOTE! Selected artists are required to post links to the “MyBand” website on their social media and official websites as well as promote the broadcast of the show that you are appearing in. This benefits all parties involved!
